LDWW is looking for an Account Supervisor (4-6 years of experience) to join its communications/PR team and assist on the firm’s work for nationally recognized brands.

Qualifications
- Firm grasp of strategic media storytelling
- Pitch press releases and story ideas by phone or email to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online
- Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople - in person or over the phone - and facilitate these meetings where appropriate
- Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR and marketing campaigns
- Proactively work on projects and bring ideas
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- In-depth understanding of agency (or client) partner tools
- Participate in new business development by assisting with research, deck creation, as well as presenting to potential new clients
- Correspond with clients and managing portions of client programs
- Assist Partners in developing and implementing the monthly account planning and activities
- Run client meetings
- Manage specific projects independently
- Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to solve problems
- Follow PR/MKTNG/Social/Digital industries and inform clients of topics that may affect their business with strategic recommendations or thoughts when applicable
- Contribute to and develop public relations strategies, social media, and marketing plans, and implement them with confidence
- Drive smart, tactical execution of client programs
- Establish successful, productive relationships with client and media contacts
- Understand what success means to each client and the agency, and help deliver on results that make an impact
- Manage billing process and play key role in budget development/management
- Add creative insight and problem-solving on a consistent basis
- Develop client and agency awards
- Participate in new business development by assisting with research, deck creation, as well as presenting to potential new clients
- Generate ongoing and new story ideas and topic angles
- Support social media strategies to engage audiences across traditional and emerging media and help secure assets if needed
- Develop social story ideas and serve as a conduit to the social and content team
- Possess an understanding of LDWW’s capabilities and services
Requirements
- Undergraduate college degree
- 4-6 years of experience in PR, communications, media relations or writing (agency or corporate)
