LDWW is looking for a Social Media Manager to execute social media strategies and manage client social communities across several social platforms. This role will be reporting directly to the Partner over Digital/Social/Media. This role will also work frequently with client service teams and agency creative/content teams. Our ideal Social Media Manager will be ready to work fast, flexibly, and collaboratively. They’ll know that social media monitoring and community management are some of the best ways to truly understand our clients’ business and customers inside and out.
Responsibilities
Community Management
- Engage in conversations with brand fans, solve customer service issues, and ultimately represent the brand in the social space
- Work closely with client service teams to share real-time updates, identify business issues and strategic opportunities from social media monitoring
- Identify creative and content opportunities that arise and proactively work to find “wins” for the client
Strategy Development
- Use knowledge of social best practices and the client social audience, develop observations into strategic recommendations in the social space
Content Creation
- Translate monthly client business priorities into well-organized social content calendars
- Find creative approaches to content that uses social best practices and anticipates social media trends
- Write engaging post copy and messaging using the brand voice
- Utilize knowledge of unique content formats (Instagram/Facebook Stories, Instagram Reels) to inform content creation and approach
Optimizing and reporting
- Pull social data and develop clear, insightful reporting across monthly, quarterly and annual formats
- Translate insights and reporting takeaways into hypotheses and tests to improve content performance over time
Requirements
- Must have an understanding of popular social platforms, including but not limited to platform strengths and weaknesses, engagement best practices, post specs, and optimizations, paid best practices, and ad types
- Knowledge of social media trends and a finger on the pulse of the leaders in the digital media landscape
- Comfortable with working independently or in a collaborative, team environment
- Detail-oriented, especially under deadline pressure
- Ability to organize observations and insights into a persuasive presentation format
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Familiar with Asana or similar workflow/productivity programs
Experience
- College graduate possessing bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years in social media management/strategy for an agency or brand
